Materials & Fabrics – Two Options:

• Option 1: Bring your own fabrics to manipulate during the workshop and take your finished pieces home with you.

• Option 2: Practice on fabrics supplied by the UK Centre of Carnival Arts; please note centre‑supplied materials must remain at the centre after the session for future use.

• Heat Shibori

• Slashing

• Sculptural fabric slashing

• Fabric weaving

• Plastic fusion

• Soluble fabrics

Objective: By the end of the day, you will have developed new fabric manipulation skills and completed unique textile pieces, supported by a self‑study project and expert feedback.
